BYU has much more on the line. A lot of people expect Michigan to do big things right out of the gate. A loss up there wouldn't ruin our seasons. But for BYU fans who are hoping for BCS this year a loss to the team expected to finish at or near the bottom of its league would sting. I actually think we both will win our openers.

While I agree with the thought here, you're comparing apples and oranges.

Filling a schedule hole 2 years down the road and one that was dropped on you at the last minute like UNR did to BYU are two very different things.
