2005 was a very disappointing season and IMO, was no better than 2004. Thank heaven that 2006 and 2007 have been serious improvements.

Most of the people I talk to that have kicked in $10,000 are not happy about the schedule talk.

However, those people aren't the really important people. The really important people are those that kick in a million and kick in $25,000 a year. I don't know how they feel. I just can't believe they are happy though.

At a Legacy luncheon, I got the distinct idea Bronco realizes he doesn't see eye to eye with big buck donors all the time. He even mentioned putting character and integrity first wasn't an overall popular idea with the group he was talking too. He placated them though with noting, integrity without winning has no credibility.

If they play crap schedules and the Legacy donors and above get upset, something will happen. Contrary to popular opinion, BYU doesn't give a crap about people watching from Indiana and posting on sports boards.

Which is exactly why I don't donate to either the school or the athletic department.

I'm more likely to get the ear of Mitt Romney that I am to get the ear of BYU with a donation.

Popular opinion? I don't waste my time and BYU's time emailing them on how they should be scheduling to play.

That said, Val Hale and Peter Pilling had me do some research for them on whether it was RPI-advantageous for them to schedule D-II teams instead teams that had an RPI of around 200.

It was more or less a wash between beating a D-II opponent (which aren't considered in the RPI formula) and beating a 180 to 200 RPI opponent.

Arch makes more baseless accusations and mindless mischaracterizations. Consistency is a virtue?

So you like being accused of being a Crowton apologist?
