I am by now wins saying that BYU is winning because of the firesides, but they sure as hell aren't losing because of them either. So in the case Ex, take your warm glass of shut the hell up and go park outside Whit's house and change your oil.

I guess the fireside explains why BYU only started the game last year 14-0 and Beck threw for 150 yards in the first quarter. It just sucked the life out of them. If they hadn't had the fireside, it probably would've been 21-0 or 28-0 in the first quarter.

They do firesides night before all games, home or away. The Laramie fireside worked OK, I don't know why you'd be too upset over this one.
