For such a hapless opponent, we weren't dominant.

TCU currently leads the MWC's 2nd-place team (New Mexico) by 20.
Hey Arch, what do you think of next week's BYU vs. TCU game? |

Archaea I am going to assume that you were not at the game. Hall looked very sharp. The first fumble the pressure was immediate and 2 guys came untouched, not his fault. The second one he held on to the ball to long but the guy did come untouched from the blindside once again.
Other than that he looked very good, he had a pass efficiency rating of over 200 which is sickening. Collie had 8 catches and looked like the Collie of old. Unga averaged 4.6 yards per carry and had 3 catches for over 100 yards. The defense only gave up 9 points. Jan Jorgensen had as good of a game as any lineman at BYU has ever had with 8 tackles, 3 sacks and 2 tackles for loss. I am very happy with the way we played. I think we will continue to get better, also this game could have been 42 or 49 if Kehl and Hodgkiss hold on to ints which both would have been taken to the house.

I don't know what some fans expect, but I thought our freshman and soph starters looked pretty damn good on offense. They did what was expected - kick the trash out of a lesser opponent. Sure the D gave up some big plays, but they stiffened up in the red zone. Yes, it wasn't a spectacularly exciting game, but then it's hard to be super-pumped as a fan when your team is facing a one win opponent.

Disagreement, indeed. This looks like a team that will not win all four of its remaining games, but I'm certainly content to come away with a decisive win. I'd give BYU a 50/50 shot right now at winning the conference outright.

I'm just tired of so many turnovers and not dominating a hapless squad.

Don't lose hope. One of these days the perfect game will happen.

TCU's demolition of UNM makes that game look scary now.

except for Hall's passing numbers. A PER above 200 is excellent. I was glad to see the improvement there for him. The problem was we didn't run very well against CSU but once we got a good lead we didn't want to run up the score so we stopped throwing and then CSU crept back into the game somewhat. I wouldn't worry too much. If we'd kept throwing the ball we would have won by a lot more.
