Great job Solon.
I run for fun too, but right now it hurts. We did 1000 yard repeats this morning and I died on the last one. We were averaging 3:45 with fastest 3:40 and slowest 3:50, but man it hurt. My Achilles hurt badly though. All of these programs can benefit one; you just need to stick to one and modify to fit your goals and needs.

I would like to work walk breaks into my training and races, I think it would help me a lot. But every time I've made an effort to figure out what run/walk ratio would be best, it seems like I have my worst runs. I should work on that right now, while I'm not really training for anything. |
