So the traditionalists would rather that fat old dudes make bad calls instead of reviewing it on video tape and getting it right?

Apparently the fat old dudes (I'm assuming that's the umpires not the first basemen...heyyyoooo) have boycotted the meetings regarding the implementation of replay. Whether or not this will stop the replay train, I don't know, but it is interesting that they are opposing it nonetheless.

The article mentioned that the blues had considered boycotting a conference call between crew chiefs and MLB about replay, but MLB canceled the call.
