Well I was, quite frankly, stunned that the LDS Church came out publically supporting the anti-gay Constitutional amendment, and thought it was bad form and bad PR. Again, the LDS Church of all institutions ought to be sensitive to the plight of disfavored minority groups. I'm basing my "bet" on this unfortunate, regrettable event.

I'm sorry we aren't amigos anymore. Your advocacy for Romney shouldn't be that important.

Are you serious? That is the only thing McCain does have. He has been Anti Abortion, and a man of Protestant faith. His only faux pas was to leave his wife and get married to a sugar momma, however that is not that uncommon an occurance in the hypocritical south (getting remarried after leaving wife, not the sugar momma part)

Another ignorant post.

McClinton voted against drilling in ANWR, voted against Bush tax cuts TWICE, proposed the Amnesty bill, McCain-Feingold. Need more?

You're correct, it shouldn't. I await your apology.

I don't think we'll know until election day. They certainly do mobilize during general elections. Whether they will do so for McCain remains to be seen.

I am personally hoping for McCain v. Obama. That should be a truly interesting contrast. I think Obama means what he says. I also think that the difference between how McCain would govern and how Clinton would govern is negligible, foreign policy included.

I write what others are too afraid to express on their own. Someone must lead the charge while the timid watch from the hall.
