It's the obesity that gives people severe daytime fatigue. They have sleep apnea.

Honestly, I'd just rather sleep through it all. Unfortunately, I have two boys, 3 years old and 6 months. Can't remember the last sacrament meeting I was able to sit through till the end.

Folks, you see why these people demand silence and seriousness.
If they really want silence and seriousness we need to ban all the babies from Sacrament Meeting.

My ward has dozens of kids under two. It sounds like a rain forest -- the only time anybody pays attention is when somebody tells an entertaining or funny story.

For a good while sacrament meeting mainly consisted of me trying to prevent my kids from escaping under the benches or into the aisles. When you are a prison warden, you can't pay attention.

I'm screwed then. Being in the 31+ Singles Ward I end up laughing every week. Oft times unintentional.

Especially during F&T meeting.

Economic crisis? Check
Fags being able to marry? Check
Unemployment? Check
Rampant foreclosures in Utah? Check
Genocide in the world? Check
Mention, in conference, of the need to wear white shirts? Check

The world is still round people.

I've run into folks who really do take this to heart. Our last Bishop asked the members not to talk to each other before sacrament meeting started, in order to have the Spirit. He wasn't crazy. He was merely following some of the general authorities.

I had an old Bishop that said the same thing. He wanted everyone to talk in the foyers and get it all of out of their systems before entering the chapel. He said that as soon as you enter the chapel even if Sacrament had not started you need to not talk. I remember the first Sunday, everyone walked in quietly shooshing their kids, then the first baby cried, and it was over.

Nice effort Bishop.

JohnnyLingo used to think I was Fusnik. People also thought I was MindfulCoug. I take that as a tribute to my versatility.
