The Kite Runner was a good read. I liked it quite a bit though I could see how some of it felt contrived. But all books are to some degree, even non-fiction.
I am half way through Anna Karenina right now. It got me thinking about infidelity as a subject matter and how many of the great novels employ this as their theme. Kind of interesting that so many authors see this as the avenue of redemption and destruction for their characters.
