At least you didn't have Sheryl Crow's cover of "Sweet Child O' Mine"....that cover is a crime against humanity.

Nah, I think taking the SAT with Huey Lewis while pop up video is playing in the background is every woman's fantasy. Hmm, maybe that explains my long dry spell...

That's a great Joan Osborne song.

Metallica--Turn the Page
Live--Lakinis Juice
John Denver--Autograph
U2--Sunday, Bloody Sunday
Everclear--Santa Monica
Joan Osborne--Son of a Preacher Man
Cat Stevens--Peace Train
Eminem--Lose yourself
Three Days Grace--Animal
Rolling Stones--Paint it Black
Elvis Costello--Olivers Army

I guess I have a broad range of musical tastes.
Hmm. I'm not knocked out either. I like some of those artists though, if not the tracks you selected. Elvis Costello I like particularly. Also Joan Osborne, though not her most famous song. Hurricane is a track I'm fond of. Eminem is a guilty pleasure. "Shake That" with Nate Dogg is possibly the most foul soul I have ever heard, and yet I can't get it out of my head. I have the edited version on the pod, which eliminates at least half the lyrics.

Oliver's Army is one of my favorite EC tunes. Excellent choice. I have a few personal mix CDs for my truck and it is on more than one of them. I have never liked Metallica too much, and I guess that I like the artisit on your list more than the actual song you chose, but overall it seems pretty listenable to me.

I don't have an ipod, but I listen to Pandora online - it's a great resource, and I've learned of some great artists I would never have discovered otherwise.

My favorite channels currently:

The Early November
Chasing Cars (Snow Patrol)
Paint it, Black (Rolling Stones)
While My Guitar Gently Weeps (Beatles/George Harrison)
Portastatic
Evanescence (especially because that one gets me songs by Guano Ape)
Colin Hay
Pink Floyd
Nick Drake
The Waterboys

Pandora is a great way to find new music. I listen to it a lot at work.
