YMCA...

Sure, maybe it's not a line dancing song, but white folks can't mess it up...plus it helps us feel a sense of confidence and security that we CAN dance.

Right Surfah?

Right. Which is curious considering that of all Caucasians you'd think the gay persuasion could have come up with something better than that. Which I guess proves my previous point.

I actually had an ocassion to stay at a YMCA while traveling in England. I stayed at one in Earl's Court, which is just outside London/Westminster proper. I was only there for one night.

Ironically, I wasnt able to get myself clean or have a good meal. The bathrooms were packed and they only had vending machines.

I was given a bunk bed in a commons room with about 10 other travelers. Most were these Asian folks who were in town to see a Van Morrisson concert. They talked most of the night. I also remember at the foot of each bunk bed was a small locker to store your wallet or small valuables. I used it as a footrest.

Bottom line: it wasnt fun to stay at the YMCA.

I think they're singing about YMCAs in this country.

If you want to see the world via the 7 seas you do that in the Navy.

In a yellow submarine?

Visit the Octopus' garden, of course.
