Besides, it's not like I've never done anything to offend my Father in Heaven, so why would I be trusted to interact with her. |

Maybe I just don't see it as a shortcoming. I don't ever want to be the woman that doesn't get hurt. To me that's not perfect a woman, it's a man.

Although I think you will agree with me that worship goes beyond reading. I suspect you were being sarcastic with that comment but couldn't tell w/out one of those fancy emoticons.

BYU has a purpose or goal for its graduates. Anyone and everyone who goes there knows that this is the case, both students and instructors. It is not a "university" in the classical sense. It is more of an "Academy." Many find this opinion offensive, I however know firsthand of the superior nature of "academy" type educations. I think I would like BYU to have more academic freedom, but I get about as charged up about it as I do solving the diarhea epidemic amongst emporer penguins. Now if the football or hoops team starts sucking, I want a referendum on the President of the Church and to know exactly what he is doing to take advantage of all the good press successful sports teams will bring to the Kingdom of God!

Perhaps not, but there seems to be a connection, most of the time.

I think it's about time we put this thread out of its misery. Do I have a second?
