Is it me or do movies nowadays just plain suck?
I saw Red Eye the other night and it was so predictable and unbelievable it just made me wonder. Are there any good movies that aren't classic novels?

Hollywood is pitiful ... how long before they remake Ben Hur, Star Wars, Raders of the Lost Ark, Close Encounters and ---dare I say it--- Titanic?
Movies are a freaking waste of time ... Saw Harry Potter with the kids recently -worst HP film to date, terrible!! |

I was also to annoyed at the news of the superman remake. Part of that is probably that I am now old enough to have seen the original and the remake of the same movie.

It's bad enough that the're going to remake Superman. It's borderline sacrelige that they have remade a Pink Panther film.
Steve Martin is good, but he is no Peter Sellers.
