I hope I type this right. This is a must-have at every Gordon family function. Really easy to make.
Spinach dip 1 c. sour cream 8 oz cream cheese - softened 1/3 c. mayo 1/2 t celery salt 1/2 t pepper 3/4 t salt 10 oz package frozen spinach - thawed and (very well) drained* 4 green onions - rinsed and chopped 1/2 c. parsley - rinsed and chopped Mix first three ingredients in medium bowl. Add the three seasonings and mix well. Stir in spinach, green onions, and parsley. Best when served within a few hours. Tastes great on Triscuits, Tostitos GOLD, carrots, celery sticks, etc. variants: My husband prefers this recipe with twice the spinach. You can use neufchatel cheese instead of cream cheese to reduce fat/calories. *Like squeeze-the-excess-water-out-with-a-colander drained |

I resolve to do better this year. We're making wings (recipe from this site), BBQ meatballs, just added BG's spinach dip, and something called cake balls. (supposedly like truffles, except you use cake). |
