Default Any Battlestar Galactica fans?

So I was perusing my "On Demand" feature on Comcast and I ran across Battlestar Galactica. I was bored, so I watched a synopsis of Seasons 1 & 2 and the first two episodes of Season 3. I'm not really a Sci-Fi guy, but I thought they were fantastic. I'm hooked. The story, acting, and writing is great. They really delve into some deep stuff - the characters, both human and cylon, are much more complex than the original series. And that blonde Cylon chick is freakin' hot!

Also, does anyone know if the first two seasons are available on DVD?

I have seen a couple of episodes and I think it is one of the best things on TV right now. In fact, it is the only show that I have had the patience to sit through without checking all of the other channels to see what is on in the past few years.

Is is surprisingly nuanced and topical. I was surprised, by removing the Islamic element, and placing it between the cylons and humans, how one could be made to feel justified in the random terroistic tactics. It shed new light how persons could resort to such a "remedy".

Seriously, this show is as good as it gets. Last fall, several posters mentioned this show and I went out and got the mini-series and the first season. Watched all last season and have watched the first two episodes this year. It is a truly terrific show. The storylines are terrific and often painful to watch. The acting is superb. One of the top 3 shows on television right now, no question.
