only 1 BYU player drafted
continuing the trend of poor performances of BYU in the draft under Bronco.
Of course it is notable that a BYU player was the 5th guy taken. A player who may have been entirely missed had the starter not been injured. So I'm not sure how much credit to give Bronco. There's a reason we don't win big games. We don't have good game plans, and we don't have great players. |

Bronco is doing all he can to hitch his wagon to the pick. That's reassuring, given his comment about not caring about sending players to the NFL.

Football is the last thing Bronco worries about. He has men he is training to be community leaders. So much more important than football.
I value my pickup basketball game more than Bronco values his football team. |

BYU seems to be topped out.
We rarely recruit or coach up a kid for the NFL or NBA. There is a glass ceiling. And it is frustrating at times because I had hoped for steady creep into the upper echelon.
