Default San Jose State ranks 120th in fan support

(Nate Silver assessment of fan support)

BYU ranks 43rd.

That should give you an idea of disparity of resources, and how disappointing a loss to San Jose State is.

The best thing that could happen for BYU football is for us to lose out (gives leverage to the AD and President). Unreasonable that we would lose next week. But might be probable that we will lose our bowl game.

That was from last year and it's a subjective survey. Why don't they just use football revenue? We're not as hot as we think we are, but we're better than 43.

I read that there were 15k in the stands at the SJSU game, and half of them were BYU fans.

And we lost.
