The four cyclists who finished the Tour tomorrow, are in their late thirties, Lance, Levi, Chris Horner and George Hincapie.
Are the Euros taking back the sport? Shudder the thought.

bookwalter actually has done all right in the tour, especially early on. Farrar is a premier sprinter. Plus, Taylor Phinney is a world champ in U23 in differente evetns and is riding as a stageaire in the vuelta for TRS. There are a few other young guys, too. I think America is doing ok.

We don't have proper development, proper coaching and enough youth events to develop cyclists, so I shouldn't be surprised we go through dry spells. Is Taylor son to the famous Phinney? I didn't see Bookwalter, where is he?

Bookwalter did very well in the first few stages but, as a domestique, he suffered for no gain in the mountains and is now somewhere in about 147th position on the GC. Even so he has looked pretty good, I think.
