For how bad some of you rip on Byu Football your chances of a bcs game aren't that
bad
Currently byu sits at 15. Lets just say they they win out (<shudder>) Here is what would have to happen for them to automatically go to a bcs game Boise st. has to lose Ball St. has to lose. If they win out they will be top 12 in the bcs. Ok let's say the potato zoobies win out. they get the auto qualifier. BYU however will be in the top 14 and eligible for at large It would go like this: bama v PSU NC North Caro v WVA Orange Oklahoma boise st Fiesta USC v Texas Rose This leaves FLA in Sugar versus At large. the big 12 and SEC teams can't send another team (already have 2) and that Leaves only Ohio St needing to Lose (so they arent in the top 14) and byu, ball st or Utah for that matter would be the only eligible teams.

Reality.

2) Utah missed on at least two TD passes because the TCU defender was stride for stride with the Utah WR and broke up the pass. BYU has no such DB or Safety that is currently seeing action. Pendelton would be the closest. He's not seeing the field. 3) Utah's defense consistenly put pressure on Dalton. They will do likewise against BYU. BYU has been horrible in their blitz packages. Combine time (for the QB) and speed of their WR's, it could be a redux of 2004. 4) Just another game for BYU. Utah has been gearing for this game since last year. You see how well that mentality worked when we played TCU. BYU's chances are bad. Real bad. But thanks for your politically correct post on a Cougar message board.

13 points allowed and 250 total yards. Good call.

That's because they had some speed on defense. I forgot that one. BYU has NO speed anywhere on the defense. Jorgensen could be effective on a pass rush, but they have lined him up in a position of no win.
