I doubt the folks at the GMAC Bowl intend to irritate the BCS pinheads, but I laughed when it crossed my mind for a bit that this is one way to steal a bit of thunder from the self-proclaimed power conferences.

The LV Bowl should consider moving to the week between New Years and the BCS championship game.
