Default Seattleute did that unbelievable Utah defense really give up

over 300 passing yards to Weber State? A 16 point win over lowly Weber state does not look very good for the pollsters. I dont care if the touchdowns were late or not, I am looking at the drive chart and Weber moved the ball on Utah. Also another turnover by BJ, seems to be par for the course for him.

Dont say a damn word about how tough Weber state is either. By the way Hawaii beat Weber by more than Utah did and Hawaii lost to Oregon State 45-7.

If you think that Whittingham was going to drill his former mentor into the ground like a tent peg you don't know the man.

Weber's quarterback is better than anyone BYU has faced this year, by quite a margin.

Utah is still in the top 5 nationally in run defense, I venture, and your satemnt was that OSU's tailback would cut Utah's DL like hot butter.

Webers QB is better than Jake Locker? You may want to rethink that statement.

Isn't he the good looking guy in Sixteen Candles?

"by quite a margin". Locker couldn't even play for Weber's scout team, apparently. Too bad he had to settle...

From listening to the post-game interviews, it was obvious that after the team watched the OSU game on Thursday, they switched their focus (maybe the coaches didn't, but the players did). They went through the motions and got the W.

Hopefully, the additional attention to OSU will pay off and Thursday's game won't be close.

Also, is Higgins the kid that transfered from Alabama?

The only additional attention OSU received this week was the ute players thinking all day Friday that OSU is better than they thought. I don't know how that will translate to success on the football field. It's not like they started game planning and watching film on OSU before the Weber St. game Saturday.

Higgins is not the transfer from Alabama. Higgins is actually only a sophomore, he came from St. Louis Highschool in Hawaii, looking at his bio he was only honorable mention all-state. His numbers in highschool were not that impressive. But he looks to be a solid 1-AA qb.

Interesting, Webers missed field goal on their first drive was Utahs first redzone stop of the year. Teams are 12/13 in the redzone vs Utah.
