So... if we’re going to throw down over the topic of manliness, you can begin by explaining why you were sobbing uncontrollably when Jenny died at the end of Love Story, or why, after viewing Titanic for the fifteenth time, you had your “friend” draw you as you reclined, wearing nothing but a gaudy necklace, you heartless bitch.

I won't apologize for my behavior because Love means never having to say you're sorry.

Also, how did you know about that nude drawing? I thought I left it locked in a safe somewhere....

Me: See, I think you're scared. You put up a big glass wall to keep from getting hurt. But it also keeps you from getting touched. It's a risk, isn't it, DDD? At least I had the guts to admit what I felt. Someday you're gonna have to come up with the courage to admit you care.

DDD: I care.

Me, at PAC's house, trying to disrupt the Support Prop 8 neighborhood rally PAC has organized on his front lawn....

DDD: I don't want to have some flunky ex-Bishop trying to calm me, man.
PAC: Now you don't have to be calling me an ex-Bishop
DDD: What is she doing? (DDD notices PAC's wife, moving towards her Prop 8 lawn sign)
PAC: Will you get back there! (PAC shouts at his wife)
DDD: What are you moving in there for?
PAC: Will you get the fetch back there! Get back there will you! (PAC continues to shout at his wife)
DDD: What's she doing? Go back there man! She wants to kill me so bad she can taste it! ah!..........ATTICA! ATTICA! ATTICA! ATTICA ATTICA! ATTICA! ATTICA! ATTICA! ATTICA! ATTICA! REMEMBER ATTICA?

Once I saw you in spandex I always questioned your manliness until you related how many commie Russians you killed with paintball guns, along with protective gear and goggles.

That's what they said about Tolstoy.

If you are going to dog Pacino, do it somewhere else.

Did anyone see the 30 Days with the Mormon housewife from CA who stayed with the gay couple from Ann Arbor? I had recorded it a long time ago and finally got around to watching it this last weekend. A few impressions:

- I would have liked to have seen the intermediate position defended, i.e. allow gay couples to adopt, but in cases where there is a heterosexual couple and a gay couple available, all other things being equal, the hetero couple should get preference. This lady was trying to defend the idea that gay couples should NEVER be allowed to adopt, no matter what the circumstances. As she was taken through the foster system in Detroit, it became somewhat hard to defend the idea that these kids would be better off in a foster home than any gay couple's home.

- I'm a little surprised at how personal things became. Most of the gay people whom she met became very outwardly hostile towards her as they found out about her positions. Maybe it's because I've never been a oppressed minority that I have difficulty, but I would think they could take the position of disagreement without hatred/hostility.
who say the best family structure includes both a mother and father? Kids need proper role models in each. Or a woman being a father is as preferable as a man being a father?

You never cease to amaze me!
