That is not the notion. I do not believe they are equal. However, the arguments that the gay community is using to demand "equal protection" can be transferred almost without alteration to other forms of sexual deviancy, including this one.

That is a position hard to wiggle around, which is why folks like you resort to the numbers argument instead.
