Very interesting findings re homosexuality
I ran across this article today: http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases...0617204459.htm
(Just to allay the belief that homosexuality is all I think of, I also read articles today about the British warship found in Lake Ontario, the Bangladesh Yeti, and the mural of the Neandertals that is going to be re-installed at a museum, but I found none of them worth discussing here) This is very interesting in that it provides a hypothesis for a societal benefit of homosexuality - the hypothesis, which the researchers say is supported by their findings, is that the genetic basis for homosexuality is tied to a genetic basis for female fecundity (that's being a fertile Myrtle), and that the corresponding gain in fertility in females which offsets male homosexuality actually results in a net positive increase in the fecundity of the population as a whole. I think it's very interesting.

Ah, sweet vindication. Finally, after all these years in the wilderness my theory has been proven.

Or not, hell I don't know. Maybe I'm misreading the thing. As I said I'm not a science doer guy.
