But here are the USC players and their star rankings out of highschool with their draft status, and BYUs.

BYU
Bryan Kehl 2 star, 4th round
Shawn Nua 3 star, 7th round
Scott Young 5 star, 5th round

Notables:
Kuresa, 4 star not drafted, cut by Utah Blaze last week
Daniel Coats, 3 star currently on Bengals roster
Chad Barney 4 star, not drafted

USC
Manny Wright 5 star, drafted 1st round of supplemental draft
Dallas Sartz 4 star, 5th round
Darnell Bign 5 star, 4th round
Winston Justice 5 star, 2nd round
Fred Matua 4 star, 7th round
Mike Williams 3 star, 1st round
Kyle Williams 4 star, not drafted
Lajuan Ramsey 3 star, 6th round
Brandon Hancock 1 star, signed free agent deal after breaking leg senior year
Oscar Lua 1 star, 7th round
Dominque Byrd 3 star, 3rd round
Tom Malone 4 star, signed free agent deal
Justin Wyatt 3 star, signed free agent deal
Drew Radovich 4 star, signed free agent deal
Thomas Williams 4 star, 5th round
Lawrence Jackson 5 star, 1st round
Matt Spanos 3 star, signed free agent deal
Ryan Kalil 2 star, 2nd round
Chauncey Washington 4 star, 7th round
John David Booty 5 star, 5th round
Will Poole 4 star (JC), 4th round
Steve Smith 5 star, 2nd round
Sam Baker 4 star, 1st round
Sedrick Ellis 4 star, 1st round
Terrell Thomas 3 star, 2nd round
Reggie Bush 4 star, 1st round
Dwayne Jarrett 4 star, 2nd round
Fred Davis 4 star, 2nd round
Keith Rivers 5 star, 1st round
Deuce Lutui 4 star, 2nd round
Chilo Rachal 3 star, 2nd round
Lendale White 3 star, 2nd round
Frostee Rucker 3 star, 3rd round
Eric Wright 2 star (transferred to UNLV) 2nd round

The bottom line is that if I am a highly rated recruit I go to USC because the likelihood of me playing in the NFL drastically increases.
This data is not compelling. In fact, it does nothing to further your argument.

The simple fact here is that there are too many variables involved to be able to adequately experiment and come to a conclusion.

Basically, the argument is that the un-drafted five-star players who played four years of limited time as a 2nd-string player, and their final year saw some starts, would have been drafted had he played at BYU, since he would likely have started all four years.

All this shows is that more players are drafted from USC than BYU, which is obvious.

And they did in the 5th round. Thomas Williams LB USC to the Jaguars.

Whitney pounded home the point that it's always better to take 5,000 words to say something that most people thought only needed 50.

As an alleged member of the media, his editors probably suffered more mental breakdowns than the female half of a freshman ward at BYU.
