The US Open is coming to the Puget Sound
Chambers Bay, which just opened last year, is going to host the US Open and the US Am. That is a big deal. It will be only the third true muni to ever host the US Open and the first time a US Open has been played in the NW.
Anyone coming up for the BYU game in the fall should try to get a round in on this great, new public track. http://www.chambersbaygolf.com/layou...=173&page=3342

That looks a lot like Bandon Dunes in Oregon. Lots of wind?

It's not as windy as Bandon. Yes, it's right on the water, but the Sound is not nearly as windy as being right on the Pacific.
