Or maybe Tex is incapable of finding any reason any white person would ever vote for a black man other than white guilt.

You should cut wider eye holes in the white sheets you use. They are restricting your view of the world to a pretty narrow one.
And here all this time I thought you were hispanic. Which is it, Cali?

I can think of lots of reasons to vote for Colin Powell, Condi Rice, Michael Steele, J.C. Watts, and others. Each had/has a popular following based on real accomplishments, real ideas, and real policy positions. Condi Rice in particular is widely popular in the Republican party based on her incredible resume, and will be able to easily capture the Republican nomination for any office she chooses, if she wishes.

Obama on the other hand has turned himself into a vapid religious icon. Which is why people like "supporter Kathleen Geier" are getting "weirded out" by some of his acolytes.

How many politicians haven't said this, coming from a US Senator in Washington.

He hasn't detailed an economic plan, but rather given a wish list of goodies to "buy" and "pander" for votes, but no David Stockman or Phil Gramm type analysis.

Where's the beef? He is a cult figure with no substance.
This simply isn't true. He has presented a detailed health care plan, detailed plans on foreign policy, detailed college savings plans, and his economic plan is as detailed as any other you will find from any Republican. [awaiting Arch retort that all politicians are losers while failing to explain why he is only focused on Obama]

he details benefits he wishes to hand out like candy to children without explaining the financing. Oh wait, he's going to soak all those rich folk making 200K or more.

He's no more than a populist panderer hoping people won't notice the man behind the drapes. He's offered nothing other than to accumulate every little spending item and then hoping people won't notice we can't afford his socialism. There's no substance there, just fluff and Oprorgasms.

What a shock. Tex can think of lots of reasons to vote for Republicans, but can't find a single one to consider the Democrat. I am blown away by that revelation.

As for me, I am the Cali version of Soledad O'Brian. Part black, part Latino, part white, and 1/2 all other ethnicities.

Apparently those "detailed plans" are not what's attracting his crowds.

Surprise, surprise, Cali abandons his racism accusations.

How convenient for you. Now all you need to do is convert to Judaism to get complete Joke Immunity.

Religion rises inevitably from our apprehension of our own death. To give meaning to meaninglessness is the endless quest of all religion. When death becomes the center of our consciousness, then religion authentically begins. Of all religions that I know, the one that most vehemently and persuasively defies and denies the reality of death is the original Mormonism of the Prophet, Seer and Revelator, Joseph Smith.
