Default Florida Polls

Here are two polls done yesterday showing Romney way out front in Florida (SoonerCoug noted one before).

Romney 35% McCain 28% Huckabee 13% Giuliani 12%
http://www.publicpolicypolling.com/p...ase_012808.pdf

Romney 35.6% McCain 23.2% Giuliani 14.7% Huckabee 13.2%
http://www.datamar.net/pdf/floridare...nPP28jan08.pdf

The RealClearPolitics set of polls shows it a dead heat, with McCain up slightly, but within the margin of error.

So, which ones are more reliable? Rasmussen had Romney up 6 yesterday and it's now even. A 6-point swing in one day?

I know, I know, the only poll that counts is on Tuesday.

Any that haven't digested the effects of the governor's endorsement are worthless.

Rasmussen has a long-term reputation of reliability, though they haven't been faring particularly well this cycle. I'm not familiar with publicpolicy or datamar. It's conceivable that the endorsements of Martinez and Crist could have resulted in a six point swing, though that seems like an awful lot.

Most if not all date to yesterday, after the endorsement.

The datamar poll was conducted 25-26th. The other two were conducted yesterday.

Does Governor Crist have a brother named Jesus? That would be a cool endorsement to land.

I don't know, but we do know that he is the brother of Satan.
