Some buddies and I got up early this morning and went for a little mountain bike ride. 8 miles straight up a fire road and then just screaming back down. We got to see the sun rise from the top of a lookout mountain.
I was totally blind going up, with my piece of crap LED headlamp, especially next to those guy's Nightrider lights that you can see from space. Steel - time to the top of South Fork - 61 minutes. I went out too hard and just pegged my max HR within the first 20 minutes and had to back off quite a bit from there on. |

What did I get 59? You should try with my bike and you'd probably drop at least a couple of minutes. I'll bet I couldn't do it anywhere near that time now.
