A friend of mine mentioned today when we briefly talked about Taylor's death that it has to be difficult for someone who grew up in a rough area with no money to get away from family and friends, not because of those friends being bad guys, but because when you have no money, all you have are family and friends. They were there before the money and loyalty is tough to discard.

I didn't read the Rolle article, but I've heard a fair amount of speculation about the possibility that this was not a shoot-to-kill, as anyone who has had much experience with a handgun wouldn't be shooting that low. Several people on Cowherd this morning think it may have been a love triangle thing. I hate to even bring it up, considering how insensitive it is at such a tragic time, but that is one theory circulating.
