Pet peeve of the day. Pronunciation of the Korean surname Choi as in KJ Choi. That is the dumbest romanization I've ever seen for a foreign name.

The proper pronunciation is Chway ryhmes with sua of suade.

P.S. Hyandai is hyon like you say hon for honey with the y sound slipped. dai rhymes with day.

I agree with you about the shame of mispronouncing names. It hurts my ears to hear folks constantly destroy Italian names.

Now that I know the correct pronunciation of Hyandai, I'll refrain from ruining it.

Sergio is self destructing 2 over through 8, now down to -7 tied for the lead with Andres Romero (who drove it in the bushes) and Els and Stricker are only 1 back. Tiger still has an outside shot at -4 through 14.

Well things are back in Sergio's favor. Harrington melted on 18 with a double bogey to fall to -6 and Sergio is still at -7. He still needs to par the final hole, but hit a nice shot off the tee and is in a decent spot to get it done.

Dang, I love golf.
