I had a nice conversation with former BYU hoopster Mike Hall today
I was feuling my car when he pulled up to the pump opposite the one I was using.
I recognized him, but wasn't sure exactly who he was so I told him he looked familiar to me and introduced myself. He just said that his name was Mike. I asked his last name and he told me and seemed appreciative that I knew who he was and where he had played college ball. We chatted for a bit and when I mentioned that I was a Ute fan, he asked my thoughts on the football game over theweekend. I told him that despite it being a kick to the stomach, it was a great game. He agreed and said that it was too bad somebody had to lose such a great game. He's on the roster for the CBA team here - the Utah Eagles - and said that he enjoyed the Wasatch Front area enough that he has no plans of ever living anywhere else. He's a humble kid who was very approachable and congenial. I was very impressed with him as a person.
