Default Journals by apostles

Someone wrote on the internetz that the church has a policy where the apostles, if they keep notes or a journal, that they agree that said records will be property of the church and not property of the family. So as to prevent their later publication and finding their way into the hands of historians. This is because of previous records that did find their way into the hands of family and revealed the disagreements and the inner workings of the first presidency and the Q12. I'd never heard that before and I have no idea if it is true. The David O. McKay biography was cited as one of the reasons why.

I guess we'll never learn that it's ok to be human.
