Mike Waters is of course intimately connected with Berkeley Breathed, having adopted the the smoking figure of Steve Dallas, esquire, as his avatar on CB. For a time, a larger version of a reclining meditative smoking Steve Dallas was his avatar on CG.

Opus' heydays, frankly, were long gone. But still, it is a passing of a good friend.
