RC Vikings is on a distinguished road
Default I lost a dear old friend yesterday

I retired the Gueriotti yesterday. After 18 years and roughly 50,000 miles it was time to take the wheels off and hang it up in the garage. Perhaps the most remarkable thing about it is I have never gone down with this bike. I hope the new one treats me as well.

The new one is a custom titanium with full Dura Ace on it. This one is a little more upright and quicker. I was very laid out and old style before and my back just couldn't take it any more. I was amazed how comfortable I felt and response it was when I got out of the saddle yesterday. The lighter bike and the higher gearing also felt good going up hill. Hopefully this will help me hang with Arch for the first thirty miles of Lotoja.
