Writing the brethren

I think we have another definitional issue here. It seems to me the letters we hear read in conference tend to be members sharing experiences, thanking Elder so and so for something, etc.

I think the letters they are talking about are question about doctrine, you didn't get satisfaction from your local leaders so you're trying to escalate, etc.

I wouldn't hesitate to write to the former, even after the letter that was read. I never have nor can I imagine ever would write the latter.
