I'm with Pete Carroll. If the kid is truly a pro prospect it's an act of common decensy to disuade him from a mission. All these couch potatos with man boobs who took the path of least resistance to their missions hectoring a kid about not serving instead of chucking a legitimate shot at a pro career. It's wrong.
Moreover, if the kid went to BYU it would be fine for him to skip a mission. You all know it's true. BYU folks only wax pious about missions when Mormon kids go to other schools. I've never seen such a bunch of liars and hypoctrites. Look in the mirror.
