These were taken at 7:20, about 25 minutes after sunrise. It took the sun a moment to rise above the haze and smoke cover.

Looking east, from the coast

Looking east, from atop the hill

Looking northeast from atop the hill. The "Witch fire" is on the other side of the hill that you can faintly see in the background, about 16 miles from my vantage point.

Looking southeast from the same spot. The "Harris fire" is about 20 miles from that vantage point. On a clear day, you can see the city skyline just on the other side of that harbor.

Looking south from the same spot.

Looking west from the same spot. It is difficult to see the coast although I was only one mile east. You can tell where the street ends.

Trail of smoke seen from the coast. Satellite images show the trail is visible for about 275 miles.
