Gregory Prince: Romney not the face of Mormonism
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/gregor...b_1897404.html
Then Harry Reid and the SLTrib have to follow up. http://www.sltrib.com/sltrib/politic...rince.html.csp Romney is kind of a weird dude. I think if I were to meet him in person one-on-one, I would think he was one of those inscrutable guys that you can't really know very well. And that I might like him, I might not, but that there would never be a way I could feel close to him. On the contrary, I think I could get to know Obama and over time, on a personal basis, theoretically become friends with Obama in a way that would not be possible with Romney. But that doesn't mean I think Obama is a good president or would vote for him. Like I said before, I think this "Mormon Moment" is highly overrated. I don't think anyone really cares, and the needle has only moved in the sense of precedence. No one else has to be the first Mormon nominee. |
