Teaching my 3 year old a famouns 'Stones song
Rock music is not favored in our household. But lately I've taken to singing to and teaching my 3 year old son all the verses of the Stones' You Can't Always Get What You Want. We sing it as a lullaby before bed. I'm hoping he gets the message. He's become prone to tantrums. I think I sing it rather well, if I do say so myself.

Does he get what they mean by getting their prescription filled?
Besides, maybe he thinks the tantrum is what it means by "if you try sometimes"

Yeah, I know, "But if you try sometime, you might get what you need" are not helpful words.

Finish it up with Steven Wright's line:
"You can't have everything. Where would you put it?"
