What was your favorite new film in 2005?
I'm going with Mr and Mrs Smith.

As queasy as Mormonism-related films usually make me, my favorite film I saw this year was /New York Doll/.

1. King Kong
2. The Constant Gardener 3. Narnia 4. Cinderella Man 5. Batman Begins 6. Walk the Line 7. A History of Violence 8. Revenge of the Sith Now that I reflect on it, great year for movies. All of the above are ones I will buy.

what do people who love the show love about the show? things i disliked... a. kong taking on 4 t-rex... b. kong having steel bionic arms and t-rex not biting through his flesh... c. veins sustaining thousands of pounds of pressure.... d. kong punching like a boxer.... e. chick letting that bug touch her mouth.... f. shooting off giant bugs with a machine gone while brodie hops around without getting shot.... g. no explanation how they got kong on the boat.... h. disappearance of the natives.... i. kong falling in love with the chick.... j. her serenading kong with her whacked dance moves.... k. pink things that look like dog penises eating people.... l. kong throwing blond headed chicks into the streets, yet recognizing the chick simply by seeing her shadow.... m. ice skating kong.... n. the line, 'why did he go to the top of the building?' 'he cornered himself on purpose'..... o. spending 3 hours watching the film.... need i go on? maybe i need to go see it again as im like the only one who doesnt like it. |

You don't have to agree with me now -- just write it down and then think about it 20 years from now and see if I'm right. o (PS, Don't get me started on LotR:RotK.)

I haven't been to many movies (love having two kids under two) so Mr. and Mrs. Smith was super. but Batman Begins is by far my favorite of the year.

I think the theatrical release was pre-2005, but the best film I saw last year (DVD) was "In America."
