A different world
I found out today that the geosciences program at my alma mater (University of Texas at Austin) recently got a $500,000,000 donation (yes, five-hundred freakin million dollars) from A SINGLE DONOR. Oilman from Dallas, I believe.
Sheesh. That's just unbelievable.

Yes. But a single donation like that is remarkable at any school.

Notice that the donation came from an oil man. When was the last time a tree-hugger ever gave that kind of money to a university?

Plenty of rich liberals pour money into causes/institutions.
To argue otherwise betrays stupidity. Or rather, "continues to betray stupidity." |
