Great quote
"These guys know what it's like to be a woman," she said. "They shave their legs. They wear a heart monitor that's like a bra. They worry about their weight. And they wear padded shorts."

I think she's saying...
that women don't need pads in their shorts to have a fat ass.

Two more thoughts on the article...
1- Does anyone here approach the dimensions of this guy?!?! 5'10" and 150 lbs. I've got the height going for me, but I'm quite a ways off on the sesquicentennial weight. Isn't Lance pretty close to these specs, though? 2- I'd like to be a fly on the wall in this guy's house when he's away. I'm sure my in-laws throw all kinds of slurs and words that would receive the "yewt" treatment on CB my way when I'm not around, but what must his in-laws be thinking? He's 24, hardly any school, some crappy part-time jobs and dragging their daughter away on these trips all the time. |

The general rule I've heard to be an elite climber is take your height in inches, double it and that should be your max weight. At 70" tall, he should be about 140 pounds, or so they say.
That makes me morbidly obese at 5'9" 165. |
