Liberal Free Speech?

http://media.www.columbiaspectator.c...epublisher.com I know nothing about the Minutemen, but why does free speech only apply to comfortable speech? Of course, I don't believe I'd rush the stage no matter who spoke.

This is what I call Howard Dean-ites.....where people espouse any and every immoral and disgusting behavior and organization...such as NAMBLA, having the right to exist, while attacking those who have God-fearing values,,,and who scream in our faces for tolerance...all the while a group of whack job left wingers such as these who will shout down anyone who dares to disagree with them......such a wonderful show of hypocritical intolerance on their part.
It really is the mantra for most liberalism. You better accept everything and everyone, no matter how disgusting and be tolerant and if you don't...then we'll become intolerant ourselves. Real nice.

I'm not so naive as to not distinguish political movements from the actions of the advocates of the movements.
All political movements are about power. The advocates thereof, may or may not, believe in the movement per se and may or may not adopt the philosophies. A most effective advocate is one who does NOT believe but makes the listener believe the advocate believes. The reason I say this, is an effective advocate must be able to take hard looks at reality, whereas a fully invested participant cannot gain true perspective. Political power is about power and ultimately money for the participants and advocates. Do NOT ever view the fight as something about truth and error, truth and method, or right and wrong. If you do, you've fallen for the trap of the advocates, and now are their pawns.
