At what point is homosexuality a sin?
This is mostly for those who agree with the Church's position on homosexuality, but all comments are welcome, of course.
A. It is a sin to be attracted to a person of the same sex B. It is not sin to be a homosexual, but homosexual acts are sins. If you agree with B, which of the following homosexual acts are considered sins? Holding hands? A kiss on the cheek? French kissing? Levi Lovin'? Oral/Anal sex/hand jobs and all other related activities? Last edited by smokymountainrain; 11-06-2008 at 08:09 PM. |

I would have to say that it is B.
And I would say that anything greater than holding hands is something that someone would have to see the bishop about if they were homosexual. Except for French Kissing, I would say the same thing for heterosexuals.

I say neither. But I say B, only the first part. I disagree with the second part. And none of those "homosexual" acts are sins at all. . . If they were, then "heterosexual" acts would be too. Everyone does those things regardless of their sexual orientation.
