Hillary wouldn't show up for this worthy cause because Palin was going to be there? Pretty pathetic. I love how Palin's spokesperson characterized Clinton at the bottom of the article. I guess Queen Hillary felt threatened. How appropriate is my avatar in light of this article?

Mrs. Clinton's idea of a partisan event is when a Republican shows up?
If it's possible for any female to be an asshole, Mrs. Clinton would be the one.

Obama is calling the shots for Clinton for the time being. His campaign didn't want the two of them to appear together, as it would generate too much publicity for Palin.

Obama has realized that trying to launch criticisms against the GOP's attractive and popular vice presidential candidate will get him nowhere, and that he's best off keeping the discourse focused on domestic policy and subsequently watching McCain/Palin self-destruct.
