A bad sign
Saturday I'm on the west side of the Sound for my sister-in-law's wedding. I'm checking my Blackberry periodically for the UW-Boise and BYU-UCLA scores (I'm delighted at the developments). For convenience I'm residing in the Pac 10 scoreboard. It isn't until halfway into the Ute-AF game that I realize, "Oh shit, there's a Ute game on."

But hey, BYU lost, so it ended up being a net positive for you.

Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!! Religion rises inevitably from our apprehension of our own death. To give meaning to meaninglessness is the endless quest of all religion. When death becomes the center of our consciousness, then religion authentically begins. Of all religions that I know, the one that most vehemently and persuasively defies and denies the reality of death is the original Mormonism of the Prophet, Seer and Revelator, Joseph Smith. |
