WHat do I need to do to get the user name of the person I am quoting included in the quotations I reference in my posts?

my posts with quotes look like this:

"quote"

Whereas everyone elses satrt something liek this:

Creekster said:

blah blah blah.

How do I become part of the cool crowd? I am feeling inadequate. Even Catblue gets it right, fer cryin' out loud.

Click on the "quote" box in the top right hand corner of the post you want to quote.

When the "Post a reply" page comes up and you begin to type a response, there should be [Quote="creekster"] in the upper left hand part of your reply box, followed by the portion of the quote you will include.

If you are already doing this and it still doesn't turn out, then you're beyond me and my inferior abilities.

The thing that is furstrating is that I figured it out when I first was on this site and then I forgot, which makes me feel not only stupid but stupidly forgetful, or forgetfully stupid, or all three. In any event, thx.
