Jessop said he was at a crossroads in his life. He wasn't the director a terribly long time, and he still appears healthful. Maybe he got a faculty appointment somewhere outside of Utah.

I'm bummed by Jessop's retirement/symbolic protest because now we'll have to endure more of M. Wilberg's arrangements of classic hymns, which always focus on the flat notes. I like the strong majors; don't give me flats, Mac.
Unrelatedly, what the heck am I doing posting so much during my first 24 hours as a member of the Guard? It's like the guy who took his first sip of beer at a party and then downed the entire twelve pack over the next two hours. That analogy is too predictable. Hmmm, spend precious working moments thinking of a better one . . . |
