Here's my question or observation, of all the major movements or religions, Islam is the sole movement or religion which treats nonadherents with hostility, and the followers are proud of it.

I can identify no other movement or religion that as a religious duty issues a fatwa, the mandatory killing of another person for religious belief.

I can think of no other group which does not have as a core element of its faith, forgiveness and charity. Buddhism exercises extreme aspects of this. Chrisitianity considers it the core doctrine, and Judaism has it.

I find elements of it in Hinduism or Sikhism.

Not Islam, outside of Sufism which Mindfulcoug appears to reject.

Why is compassion such an alien concept to members Islam?
